Qualifications

• Strong experience covering Financials sector with EM banks.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and defend independent investment views.
• Excellent understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies and company fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take on increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term original fundamental research and translate analysis into clear, actionable investment recommendations.
• Produce written research and communicate investment conclusions effectively to internal investment teams and other relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct company and industry due diligence, including meetings with management teams and other external sources.
• Build and maintain constructive relationships with companies within the analyst’s coverage universe.
• Contribute ideas and insights across the wider investment organisation, working collaboratively with colleagues from different disciplines.
• Develop thematic and sector-based research that can generate differentiated investment ideas, including opportunities on the short side.
• Monitor developments across relevant markets and sectors and continually reassess investment theses as new information emerges.
