Job summary

Morgan Stanley in London is seeking a junior commodities options trader (Associate/VP) to source liquidity, price options, and manage an options portfolio. Qualifications

• Previous options trading experience, preferably within commodities.
• Proven experience in managing PnL/Risk.
• Hard-working and entrepreneurial, capable of generating own ideas and handling complex concepts.
• Strong team player in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing liquidity in the commodity options markets to respond to client requests – corporates and hedge funds.
• Pricing option structures and managing an options portfolio – using option pricing fundamentals and risk sensitivities (greeks).
• Working with the options book runner on P&L reconciliation, reporting, position management and volatility- surface analysis.
• Collaborating with the commodities sales team and the wider trading team to share views on options markets.
• Maintaining awareness of market trends, macro data and commodity fundamentals to inform trading strategies.
