Vets Now is launching Cutting Edge, an 8-week training programme designed to prepare vets for Emergency and Critical Care (ECC). The role starts with a training salary and leads to a permanent ECC position across UK clinics, including Swansea.

The rota supports work-life balance with 30–40 hours per week and structured mentorship from senior clinicians. After training, salaries rise to £60,000–£65,000 per year depending on clinic, with benefits.

Qualifications

• At least six months’ small animal experience.
• Confident consulting and performing routine surgical procedures sole charge.
