Job summary

Vets Now in Preston is a leading emergency pet care provider, servicing over 1700 practices through 60+ out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 hospitals.

Our nursing team leads triage, surgery, anaesthesia and in-patient care, with roles including first aid, critical care and diagnostics. RCVS accreditation supports our ability to handle emergencies; ECC certificates and CPD are encouraged.

Qualifications

• RCVS registration for a minimum of six months.
• Passionate about caring for clients and their pets.
• Experience with ECC caseload is advantageous.
• We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and provide adjustments throughout recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid advice over the phone and in clinic.
• Manage critical care, monitor in-patient trends and pain assessment.
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures in sole charge capacity.
• Support ECC caseload and maintain high clinic standards.
