Job summary

Vets Now is offering the Cutting Edge programme to become an Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) veterinary surgeon. The eight‑week training includes 250 hours CPD, hands‑on clinic experience, and mentorship, with a starting salary of £42,250 during training and up to £65,000 thereafter depending on clinic.

After training you join an ECC clinic full‑time, with a 30–40 hour week rota and no more than three nights in a row. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• At least six months’ small animal experience.
• Confidence in consulting and performing routine surgical procedures sole charge.

Responsibilities

• Consult and perform routine surgical procedures sole charge.
• Develop ECC knowledge and clinical skills through the Cutting Edge programme.
• Work across UK ECC clinics on a rotating basis after training.
