Job summary

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Psychiatric Technician to join an interdisciplinary team under supervision of clinical staff. The role provides basic and supportive care to psychiatric patients across ages, maintaining a safe environment and monitoring patients at risk.

Required: high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), and BLS and de-escalation training; prior healthcare or security experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree or college level work in psychology or human services field preferred.
• Prior Healthcare, Mental Health, Security, or Public Service experience preferred.
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association; completion of de-escalation and restraint program within 3 months of hire.
