Job summary

Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated doctor to join its Emergency Department teams serving Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and surrounding areas from King’s Mill Hospital and Newark Hospital. You will work with Consultants in Emergency Medicine and a team of Speciality Doctors and Trainees.

The role involves maintaining professional standards, participating in teaching and audit, and delivering timely, patient-centred care within a high-volume ED environment.

Qualifications

• GMC Good Medical Practice adherence and GMC guidance.
• Registration with General Medical Council (GMC) and commitment to professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep patients and carers informed about their condition.
• Involve patients and carers in decisions about treatment.
• Maintain professional standards as set by the GMC.
• Keep records and provide reports as required.
• Properly delegate tasks and maintain skills and knowledge.
