Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Emergency Medicine physician to join our teams across King's Mill Hospital and Newark Hospital. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care, teaching, and continuous improvement in a busy ED setting.

The role requires full GMC registration, MRCEM/FRCEM, and substantial emergency medicine experience in the UK.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
• MRCEM and FRCEM qualifications or progress towards.
• Progress towards or attainment of college exams.
• Completion of four years supervised training in CESR/SpR level.
• Experience in Emergency Medicine in the UK.
• Ability to work in a multi-professional team.

Responsibilities

• Support high quality patient care with continuous improvement.
• Provide clinical responsibility for patients on duty.
• Keep patients informed and involve carers in decisions.
• Maintain GMC standards and Good Medical Practice guidance.
• Contribute to teaching, audits, and medical student training.
