Job summary

Exeter Hospital in affiliation with Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks ED nursing support staff to provide direct patient care in a busy Emergency Department. The role involves triage support, vital signs, blood draws, IV therapy (EMT-Advanced certified if offered), and assisting with patient flow and examinations.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, CPR certification within 30 days of hire, and appropriate NH licensure (EMT-A or CNA).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• NH EMS Provider's license or NH Licensed Nursing Assistant required.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows established departmental policies and safety standards.
• Provides personal care to patients and assists the RN with care tasks.
• Maintains supplies and inventories in ED areas.
• Assists with patient flow and transport to imaging and other departments.
• Performs phlebotomy and EKGs; orients new staff.
