Zusammenfassung

HCRG Care Group seeks an Emergency Clinical Practitioner (Band 7) to join the Minor Injury Unit in Trowbridge. You will deliver care for minor injuries and illnesses, working with partners including RUH Bath and other BSW services.

Role requires autonomous assessment, prescribing and discharge, with responsibility for MIU staffing in the clinical lead's absence. 8am–8pm, 7 days a week.

Qualifikationen

• Current professional registration
• Evidence of continued professional development
• Relevant minor injuries or emergency department experience and qualifications e.g. APiCA
• Independent Non-Medical prescribing

Aufgaben

• Autonomous assessment, examination, documentation, prescription, and discharge of MIU patients.
• Ensure safe staffing and management of the Minor Injuries Unit in absence of the clinical lead.
• Coordinate specialist interventions to meet urgent health care needs.
• Work across primary and secondary care interfaces within the BSW region.
• Participate in staff training and development.
