Job summary

Citi's Equities Technology organization in London is seeking an experienced engineering leader to drive the next generation of low-latency connectivity platforms. You will design, develop and own the systems underpinning electronic trading, DMA, and order management across regions, partnering with product, quantitative research and operations.

You will lead a distributed team, shape technical strategy, and champion best practices in testing, performance optimization and CI/CD to deliver

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in financial technology, with expertise in low-latency systems in Java, C++, or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision, roadmap and strategy for the global low-latency platform.
• Lead a geographically distributed team of engineers.
• Partner with product development, quantitative research, technology infrastructure, and production support.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of high-performance, resilient electronic connectivity systems.
• Champion CI/CD and DevOps culture.
• Promote AI-powered SDLC practices.
• Ensure platform reliability at scale.
