Job summary

AlixPartners is seeking an experienced Tax Manager – EMEA to lead tax compliance and advisory across Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Based in London, you will oversee direct and indirect tax, transfer pricing, and strategy, coordinating with Big 4 firms and local authorities in a fast-paced multinational environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive professional experience in tax compliance and/or tax advisory.
• Significant experience in Big 4 or in-house multinational tax functions.
• Demonstrated expertise in corporate income tax and VAT across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Strong technical knowledge of tax laws in at least one major EMEA jurisdiction.
• Professional tax qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead direct tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing compliance and advisory across EMEA.
• Manage co-sourced arrangements with external tax advisors and oversee outsourced tax functions.
• Coordinate with regional finance teams for timely tax filings and payments.
• Oversee VAT data validation, GL reconciliation, and tax return preparation.
• Support tax controversy strategy and respond to authority inquiries.
