Job summary

AVEVA, a global industrial software leader, seeks a Senior Compliance Manager for EMEA. Based in London with hybrid 50% office time, you will oversee license compliance reviews, manage cases end-to-end, and forecast the EMEA compliance workload.

You’ll partner with Legal, Sales, Finance, and Channel teams to safeguard licensing integrity and drive consistent outcomes. This role blends audit discipline with stakeholder engagement, including interaction with customers and internal partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in compliance auditing, contract/license compliance, legal operations/support, investigations, risk/compliance, software asset management, or related roles requiring structured evidence review and stakeholder management.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
• High attention to detail and comfort working with contractual documentation and datasets/trackers.
• Strong organization and time management; ability to manage multiple complex workstreams at once.

Responsibilities

• Plan & execute compliance reviews.
• Interpret license agreements and entitlements to determine compliance position.
• Conduct software license compliance reviews/cases end-to-end: scope, data, validation, analysis, conclusions.
• Maintain a high-quality audit trail (workpapers, evidence, responses, logs).
• Oversee external auditing firms and coordinate with Salesforce for case tracking.
• Drive case progression, manage multiple open cases, and provide clear status reporting.
• Participate in customer-facing meetings and communicate professionally in sensitive situations.
• Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Finance, Ops, and channel partners on strategy and resolution.
