Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive's Hill’s Pet Nutrition seeks a Senior Manager of Scientific & Academic Affairs for the EMEA region. The role leads engagement with veterinary colleges, Key Thought Leaders, and academic partners, ensuring scientific rigor across assets and educational programs.

The position reports to the VP and Chief Veterinarian, Hill’s EMEA, with responsibilities spanning strategy, program execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in small animal veterinary practice or academia.
• Fluency in English (written and oral).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Board certification in veterinary clinical nutrition (preferred).
• 2+ years’ experience in animal health industry (corporate) roles, ideally including customer-facing experience.
• Experience using AI-powered tools.
• Understanding of European regulatory environment (FEDIAF and PARNUTs).

Responsibilities

• Implement Hill’s EMEA school strategy for tiering, coverage and engagement with veterinary colleges.
• Execute the Hill’s Student Representative and staff feeding programs in schools.
• Grow endorsement by Key Thought Leaders through programs with specialists and residents across EMEA.
• Support development and localization of technical and educational assets with the latest nutrition information.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for regulatory, legal and marketing teams during claims substantiation.
• Represent Hill’s in European nutrition groups and engage with scholarly organizations.
• Represent Hill’s as a speaker at national and international congresses.
• Help with clinical study coordination.
• Collaborate with global teams to represent regional needs and future innovations.
