Job summary

HID, part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, Retail, to lead the Retail vertical across Europe, Middle East and Africa. You will drive growth through direct engagement and partner-led execution, engaging with system integrators, OEMs and solution providers to deliver RFID-enabled inventory visibility and store productivity improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, retail management, supply chain management, engineering, or related field.
• MBA or equivalent is advantageous.
• 5–8+ years in sales or business development in Retail market.
• Proven track record of growth in solution-based sales.
• Experience with RFID HF/UHF and industrial AIDC solutions.
• Experience selling integrated hardware, software and services.
• Hands-on contributor, managing opportunities end-to-end.
• Experience with partner ecosystems including SI, OEMs and tech partners.
• Experience engaging multiple stakeholders: operations, IT, procurement.
• Strong understanding of retail operations: inventory visibility, loss prevention.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Analytical mindset for evolving environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive Retail vertical sales strategy across EMEA.
• Build and convert pipeline for asset tracking, worker safety, logistics and infrastructure visibility.
• Engage customers and partners to support solution-driven opportunities and drive deal progression.
• Develop and support partner ecosystem across EMEA including SI, OEMs and ISVs.
• Contribute to routes to market with both partner-led execution and direct sales.
• Manage sales cycles from discovery through to close with senior support as needed.
• Maintain CRM discipline, pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Marketing for positioning and market adoption.
• Monitor market trends and competitive activity to refine the vertical approach.
• Represent HID in customer engagements, partner interactions and industry events in Retail.
