The role leads Hard Services across a multi-site portfolio, owns budgets, and drives sustainability and cost-reduction programs while ensuring compliance and high service standards.

The candidate will partner with client teams, manage SLAs/KPIs, and advance engineering operations through data-driven improvements and strategic supplier management.

Responsibilities

The role will be accountable for the Hard Services delivery and provide leadership to all sites across the region, ensuring delivery of their objectives and the implementation of property-specific operating strategies that achieve the required standards. The EMEA Regional Engineering Director will work closely with both the account and local client team, responding to requests in a timely and detail-oriented manner. Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided to both internal and external clients and key stakeholders. **What your day to day will look like:** * Lead Hard Services Management across the cluster (budgets, schedules, procurement, quality & risk, statutory compliance and governance)* Develop and implement consistent maintenance management practices across sites. Lead service partners and teams in driving performance and best practice to ensure exceptional service delivery* Provide technical support for client’s leased space as required* Lead sourcing in the area of regional contracts for technical products or services. Support JLL and client’s business pursuits* Accountable for the JLL Engineering Operations Audit program* Drive and deliver innovative cost reduction or sustainability programs* Deliver improvement strategies using quantifiable data driven information from all available technology platforms* Work with the account EMEA Sustainability Manager to identify energy management best practices and innovations that are applicable within the Client account* Accountable for all engineering budgets within the UK portfolio working with the site facilities managers and forecasts and in accordance to the financial timetable* Lead the UK engineering function in support of all client accreditations and certifications (e.g. Client ISO50001, ISO550001 certification)* Communicate regularly with the Client team to build and maintain relationships and work with key business partners and cross functional groups* Manage internal and external Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key* Performance Indicators to ensure contractual commitments are met or exceeded* Promote high level of customer service to ensure and drive best practices* Ensure business continuity plans are carried out as required to maintain minimum service disruption* Other duties as requested by the EMEA Account Director in order to meet the changing needs and demands of the business* All the time working in accordance with health and safety measures and promoting best practice amongst colleagues, contractors and vendors* Conduct risk assessments and follow safety protocols, keeping up to date with latest legislation and trends **Required Skills & Qualifications** * You have direct experience in delivering technical Facilities Management services within a fast paced, high profile environment* You have worked in a similar role and have skills to lead and influence others including virtual teams* You have a track record in the management of Hard Services, preferably in both self-delivered and outsourced engineering services contracts* You have experience in financial management and budgeting, identifying cost savings/avoidance* You are able to build and maintain positive client relations and network at all levels* You are able to audit your own work* You are open and have good communication skills* You are proficient with Word and Excel and have a keen interest in technology You strive for excellence in what you do and share ideas for improvement* You are organized, work efficiently and can meet tight deadlines with professionalism and service focused approach* You are adaptable to work to requests and projects that may vary* You have a Technical or/and Authorised Person (preferred) qualifications
