Job Description:

The EMEA Payments Product Management Team is a dynamic and diverse product team responsible for product strategy, development, commercialization, and local relevance of payment products across the region. The products developed will be used by global financial institutions and corporations executing payments, focusing on streamlining client experience while reducing operational costs and risks within the current model.

As an EMEA Real Time Payments Product Manager within Morgan Payments, you will promote regional payments transformation. You will be responsible for product strategy, development, commercialization, and ensuring local relevance of payment products across the region. You will collaborate with stakeholders, lead teams, and build product roadmaps. Your role is pivotal in streamlining client experience, reducing operational costs and risks, and delivering innovative payment solutions. This role leverages strategic development, execution skills, knowledge of payment risk and regulation, and passion for payments to impact clients and industry.

Job responsibilities

  • Defines and delivers EMEA Real Time Payment Product strategy ensuring market-leading and innovative capabilities in line with regulatory requirements, with reduced risk and costs, and increased profitability.
  • Manages P&L including financial planning and delivery against revenue and expense targets, and oversees payment execution.
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert in Payments, focusing on Real Time payments, with end-to-end understanding and accountability of payment execution.
  • Participates in industry working groups and drives thought leadership into strategy, clients, and the market.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement new solutions and product improvements that are globally consistent.
  • Designs, presents, and owns internal training and client-facing materials.
  • Understands inherent risks in the product and drives programs to reduce or eliminate them.
  • Implements change, consensus, and alignment on the target state vision and roadmap across stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Exhibits continuous learning, sharing knowledge organization-wide, and facilitates classes, workshops, and sharing events.
  • Acts as a team player in developing the team, fostering a collaborative culture, and promoting positivity and fun in the office.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in payments, product management, development, or similar roles, with collaboration with Sales, Service, Operations, and Technology.
  • Experience in Financial Services and Payments industry.
  • Proven leadership, financial, analytical, and strategic skills.
  • Effective change and strategy management skills, with ability to influence teams and adapt to change.
  • Proven success in high-pressure, dynamic environments, with a track record of developing and implementing initiatives.
  • Participation in payment industry groups and regulatory experience.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative solutions.
