Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in London is seeking a Product Design and Development Manager to drive innovative, commercially focused product design across EMEA from concept to delivery. You will mentor a team of designers to translate consumer insights into best-in-class 2D/3D concepts that uphold brand storytelling and integrity.

You will set a clear creative handwriting, identify white-space opportunities, and lead trend analyses, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in product/industrial design or related field.
• Extensive product design and development experience.
• Strong portfolio showing innovation and brand alignment.
• Proficiency with Mac OSX, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Office.
• Experience leading design teams across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Set product design direction and establish a recognizable product handwriting.
• Lead cross-functional workshops and trend analyses.
• Identify white-space opportunities aligned with business needs.
• Coordinate design reviews, workshops, and pitches.
• Mentor and develop the Product Design team.
• Ensure brand integrity and storytelling across concepts.
• Oversee Online Product Approval submissions with licensees.
