Job summary

Statista is seeking a (Junior) PR & Communications Manager to support and shape communications across the EMEA region, with a focus on Germany and the UK. You will turn data, products, and corporate stories into compelling narratives and manage day-to-day PR activities in Germany and the UK.

The ideal candidate writes well in German and English, proactively communicates, and thrives in a fast-moving global company. This role offers hybrid work and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of relevant professional experience in PR, corporate communications, or journalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English.
• Strong writing and editing skills for press materials and pitches.
• Experience in media relations, pitching stories and building journalist relationships.
• Familiarity with the German media landscape; UK media knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day PR and communications activities across EMEA with focus on Germany and the UK.
• Draft, edit, and tailor materials in German and English (press releases, media pitches, Q&As).
• Plan and execute always-on media relations for Tier 1 and Tier 2 outlets; monitor trends.
• Support integrated campaigns and thought leadership initiatives.
• Build relationships with journalists and editors across German and UK media.
• Position executives for media interviews and speaking engagements.
• Create LinkedIn content translating priorities into executive communications.
• Support US PR activities and other EMEA media outreach as needed.
• Coordinate PR partnerships and external speaking opportunities.
