Job summary

Worldpay is seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst - EMEA to deliver an accurate UK payroll service, maintaining colleague remuneration, benefits, and lifecycle events. You will collate data from Workday, handle PAYE and statutory elements, and coordinate year-end tasks such as P11D and P60 submissions.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement (three days in the office, two days from home) and a collaborative global payroll team to support across regions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years payroll experience.
  • Good UK payroll legislation knowledge.
  • Exposure to monthly reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Payroll processing for UK with PAYE and statutory elements.
  • Maintain and update employee remuneration and benefits data.
  • Coordinate year-end payroll requirements (P11D, P60).
  • Assist HMRC documentation and respond to pay queries.
  • Collate data from Workday and ensure correct processing by payroll vendor.
  • Handle complex queries and payroll reconciliations.
  • Provide updates on P45s and P60s.

What You’ll Own

As Payroll Analyst you will deliver an effective and accurate payroll service to our UK business. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating colleague renumeration, benefits and lifestyle events are dealt with accordingly. You will assist with all HMRC documentation and be involved with coordinating year end payroll requirements including P11d and P60 submission. You will also assist with the administration of our flexible benefits program and Pension administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll processing, including statutory elements: PAYE, SSP, SMP, SAP, SHPP, SPP.
  • Maintaining and updating employee data, including monthly benefits data and P11Ds.
  • Triage and respond to pay queries from both colleagues and external agencies as they arise including HMRC and court orders.
  • Collating data from Workday, and ensuring this is processed correctly by our payroll vendor.
  • Dealing with complex queries.
  • Identification of payment or data errors.
  • Performing payroll reconciliation.
  • Providing updates and information on: P45's, P60's etc.
What You’ll Bring
  • A minimum of 2 years’ payroll experience
  • Good UK legislation knowledge
  • Some exposure to producing monthly reports
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills both in verbal and written form.
  • Focused, proactive self-starter with good interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Passion for attention to detail and getting it right first time
  • Able to prioritise and deliver to deadlines
  • Experience of dealing with large volumes of data
It’s a bonus if you have
  • Experience using systems: ADP Streamline, IHCM, Workday
  • CIPP desirable
  • Experience supporting additional countries within the EMEA region would be a plus
