Job summary

G MASS is seeking a Regional Operational Oversight Manager for delegated authority covering Company and Syndicate business across EMEA. You will own relationships with Coverholders and MGAs, perform due diligence, onboarding, and annual reviews to ensure governance and compliance.

You will lead audits across delegated partners, manage day-to-day oversight of binding authorities, and ensure accurate data and reporting.

Qualifications

• Solid P&C insurance background with understanding of underwriting operations and file management.
• Experience building or evaluating operational controls.
• 3+ years' experience in insurance operations or delegated authority specifically.

Responsibilities

• Own the relationship with a portfolio of Coverholders and MGAs, running due diligence, onboarding and annual review to keep them compliant with governance standards
• Lead operational and compliance audits across delegated partners, chasing resolution on findings and holding partners to service and regulatory standards
• Manage day-to-day oversight of Binding Authorities and Line Slips, including SLA performance and outsourcing arrangements
• Ensure the data and reporting produced by delegated partners is accurate and fit for purpose, resolving quality issues as they're identified
• Own the department's policy and procedure documentation, keeping it current as processes evolve
• Sit on relevant risk and delegated underwriting committees, representing operations in wider business discussions
• Identify and lead improvements to the operating model, balancing BAU delivery with change work
