PIMCO Europe Ltd. is seeking a Hedge Fund Strategist to join the Product Strategy Group in London. You will lead the growth of hedge fund and quantitative strategies across EMEA, and influence global product planning while supporting client engagements.

The role requires expert knowledge of hedge funds, strong communication, and an entrepreneurial, collaborative mindset to expand PIMCO’s hedge fund footprint in the region.

Formación

• At least seven years of experience in asset management or the sell side with a focus on hedge funds or liquid alternatives.
• Strong understanding of the hedge fund landscape, strategies, allocator behavior, and client demand trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to translate complex concepts into clear narratives.
• Public speaking across formal and informal settings to diverse audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the EMEA subject matter expert on hedge fund and quantitative strategies, advising clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with global Product Strategy and Portfolio Management teams across regions.
• Represent investment process and positioning to client-facing teams as a primary product expert.
• Lead engagements with institutional and private wealth investors, including due diligence processes.
• Create investor content: presentations, commentaries, white papers, and bespoke materials.
• Contribute to global business planning, product prioritization, and new product development.
