Job summary

Wellington Management is seeking an Accountant, EMEA Finance, in London to join the Global Accounting group within the Finance department. The role covers monthly close, internal and external reporting, and financial analysis across multiple jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate is a newly/recently qualified Chartered Accountant with 3 years’ experience, strong Excel and systems skills, and excellent communication abilities to interact with diverse stakeholders across EMEA, the US, and APAC.

Qualifications

• Qualified chartered accountant with 3 years accounting experience.
• IFRS knowledge beneficial.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts for Wellington's legal entities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Analyze monthly financial results and report to management.
• Prepare filings and surveys for regulatory agencies.
• Draft financial statements across jurisdictions.
• Support external audits with work papers and auditor inquiries.
• Identify process improvements and system enhancements.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
