Job summary

Cato Networks is seeking an experienced Field CISO EMEA to advise CISOs, CIOs, and boards on security strategy and risk in strategic accounts across EMEA. This role emphasizes executive-level influence, cross-functional collaboration, and thought leadership.

You will partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Product teams to shape opportunities, drive risk-aware cloud transformation, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. Travel to client sites will be extensive.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years as an actual CISO in large private or public companies.
• 20+ years in cybersecurity with executive accountability for security strategy and governance.
• Proven experience leading security in complex, global enterprise environments.
• Active network of CISO/CIO/risk peers for access, trust, and business impact.
• Willingness to travel extensively; travel may exceed 50%.
• Deep understanding of modern security concepts: SASE, SSE, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, AI security.
• Strong executive presence, public speaking, writing, and business storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted executive advisor to CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, risk leaders, boards, and decision makers in strategic accounts.
• Lead peer-level security conversations on risk, resilience, cloud transformation, and regulatory pressure.
• Translate platform value into executive outcomes like risk reduction and operational simplicity.
• Shape opportunities and messaging with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and leadership teams.
• Represent Cato in executive briefings, industry events, and thought leadership content.
