Job summary

Valvoline Global Operations seeks an Ethics & Compliance Counsel to act as a legal advisor and regional leader for the ethics and compliance program. You will align business activities with laws, regulations, and values while enabling market objectives and growth across regions.

This role provides regional support for policy governance, risk assessments, investigations, privacy, and third-party due diligence, collaborating with HR, Finance, Security and Internal Audit.

Qualifications

• JD with active license to practice law.
• Significant experience (typically 5–8 years) in ethics & compliance, internal investigations, regulatory law, ESG compliance, or related roles within a global organization.
• Demonstrated expertise in compliance program management including ABAC, global trade, ESG, and product regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional leadership for ethics & compliance program implementation.
• Lead and oversee investigations, ensuring thoroughness and proper remediation.
• Develop and deploy regional training and communications to promote legal compliance and ethical culture.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Security, Product, Supply Chain, ESG, Internal Audit to mitigate regulatory risks.
