Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Strategic Negotiator to secure infrastructure for Google’s future, negotiating end-to-end energy and power deals across EMEA. You will originate, structure, and execute high-stakes agreements, manage vendor relationships, and present recommendations to Tech leadership.

With 10+ years in negotiations or business development, you will shape energy procurement strategy for diverse generation technologies and drive clean energy initiatives across global data center projects

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience leading negotiations or business development.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end origination, execution and ownership of energy and power strategy across GW scale markets in EMEA.
Lead complex transactions and high-stakes negotiations including origination, structuring and execution of grid connection agreements, clean energy power purchase agreements, and other data center-related energy contracts.
Contribute to the growth of Google's data center portfolio through energy due diligence during site selection for new data center project development both in established markets and in frontier markets.
Own the strategy for Google's energy procurement, spanning all energy generation technologies, and including the procurement of carbon-free energy in support of Google's clean energy ambitions.
Develop and lead mission-critical agreements, investments, and other transaction related materials with executives and partner teams, working with agreement team members and cross-company partner teams (e.g., Engineering, Finance, Legal, Accounting, etc.).
