Job summary

Amazon Data Services UK Limited in London is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to lead end-to-end data center expansion programs in EMEA. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across Real Estate, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Infrastructure Deployment, Networking, Operations and Security to deliver on time and within budget.

As TIPM you will manage interfaces with external vendors and Colo operators, develop delivery programs, monitor risks, and report

Qualifications

Experience as a Program Manager in capital projects, physical infrastructure or mission critical environments.
Experience in industrial or commercial engineering or project management in Mission Critical facilities including data centers.
Experience working in a program management capacity and/or leading large-scale complex projects.

Responsibilities

Take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces.
Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and outcomes to internal cross-functional teams.
Up to 25% travel within EMEA.
Be responsible for end-to-end program delivery from pre-contract design to handover.
Manage interface between internal teams and external contractors to ensure on time and on budget delivery.
Build and maintain delivery program and project budget, submit Capital Allocation Requests.
Work with Capacity Planning, Energy and Real Estate teams to develop build strategies.
Support continuous process improvement and share lessons learned.
Regularly report to senior leadership on status of key project metrics.
