Job summary

Nomura Holdings, Inc. in London is seeking an experienced EMEA Cost Controller at Associate level to manage monthly Global Investment Spend and to deliver MI with accuracy.

The role involves partnering with the transformation office and other stakeholders to understand cost drivers, support budgeting and forecasts, and drive cost efficiency across regional and global investments. The ideal candidate will contribute analytical insights, maintain governance packs, and help enhance reporting

Responsibilities

• Manage production of monthly Global Investment Spend and related MI, track MI and underlying analytical schedules.
• Act as a business partner to transformation office and other stakeholders across the firm.
• Provide insightful data analysis to deliver high quality understanding of the underlying cost base and drivers of budget variances.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecast cycle.
• Respond to data queries from stakeholders, create one-off MI, maintain governance packs.
• Contribute new ideas for fresh analysis, improvement of process and for making better use of technology.
• Set up and lead improvements in reporting processes and analytics for both regional and global investments.
