Job summary

Morningstar is seeking a Controller for the EMEA West region based in London. You will lead financial reporting, monthly close, and statutory reporting across UK, Middle East, and Africa, ensuring alignment with US GAAP controls in a multinational setting.

The role offers hybrid work with four in-office days weekly. Qualified accountants with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent and 10+ years in complex finance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in a multinational.
• Experience in financial close, consolidation, and reporting across multiple entities.
• Strong leadership and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and/or US GAAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close, audits, and tax/statutory reporting.
• Lead regional finance team structure, training, and career development.
• Maintain internal controls for a publicly traded company.
• Ensure accurate forecasts and budgets with regional leaders.
• Drive process improvements and system implementations.
