Job summary

J.P. Morgan in Europe seeks an Analyst to perform credit risk analysis for a diversified set of corporate borrowers across EMEA.

You will work with front office partners to assess cash flow, debt capacity, and risk, contributing to structured financing solutions and risk management. You will cover sectors like Business services, Machinery, Transportation, airlines, and defense, prepare concise memos, support due diligence, and develop knowledge of loan agreements and security packages while

Qualifications

Ability to navigate and interpret corporate financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, CF).
Familiarity with cashflow modelling and valuation methods (including DCFs).
Broad understanding of macroeconomic and sector factors affecting corporates and leveraged finance borrowers.
Basic knowledge of lending, capital markets, and derivatives products; familiarity with leveraged finance and covenant structures.

Responsibilities

Perform credit analysis of corporate borrowers across EMEA sectors and assess risk exposures.
Track financial performance updates, earnings events, liquidity and covenant compliance.
Monitor risk and exposure metrics and contribute to sector analyses.
Participate in due diligence for onboarding new clients and review existing ones.
