Job summary

Taylor Root is seeking an experienced Commercial Marketing Counsel to join its EMEA legal team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. The role supports Marketing, Communications and Partnerships across Europe and advises senior stakeholders on commercially focused legal guidance for campaigns, sponsorships and brand initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' PQE in private practice or in-house.
• In-house experience in consumer-facing/tech brands is advantageous.
• Strong background in marketing, advertising, sponsorships and commercial matters.
• Proven contract negotiation across a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and business-focused judgement.

Responsibilities

• Advise on marketing, advertising and consumer-facing legal matters across EMEA.
• Draft, review and negotiate sponsorship, co-promotional, agency and content agreements.
• Support major campaigns, launches, live events and partnerships.
• Coordinate reviews across jurisdictions and liaise with local counsel.
• Develop templates, playbooks and training for business teams.
