Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a Senior Research Analyst II to support the Acrylates and Oxo Alcohol market advisory team. You will help gather, review and analyse monthly data for reports used by global chemical producers, traders, and procurement managers in the EMEA region.

You will interact with the Market Advisory Services group to ensure consistency and stay informed on global trends. A degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry is highly preferred, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and English

Qualifications

University degree required in a chemical-related field with strong analytical interest.
Experience researching market data and communicating findings clearly.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Support monthly price discovery and reporting for Acrylates, MMA, SAP, Oxo Alcohols, and Plasticizers.
Analyze demand/supply drivers to create monthly price forecasts across EMEA.
Contribute to monthly Market Advisory reports and long-term World Analysis forecasts through 2060.
