Job summary

PIMCO is seeking an experienced Manager, Employee Benefits for the EMEA region. The role oversees health & welfare, retirement, and wellbeing programs across EMEA, delivering precise program execution and a strong employee experience.

The position requires hands-on ownership of day-to-day operations, design input, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliant, efficient benefits delivery while supporting global programs as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive or related experience in health and welfare benefits, including senior leadership engagement.
• Deep knowledge in EMEA benefits with exposure to global programs.
• Deep working knowledge of EMEA regulatory and compliant program execution.
• Hands-on, high-accountability environment with strong execution and ownership.
• Strong operational rigor, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the enterprise benefits strategy across health, welfare, retirement, leave and wellbeing programs.
• Operate as a hands-on contributor within a lean team, supporting day-to-day operations with accuracy and employee experience.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to senior leadership on benefits design, cost management and risk.
• Manage vendor relationships including health, risk, dental, EAP, and retirement plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to streamline benefits processes and data quality.
• Guide UK annual enrollment strategy and execution, including employee communications.
• Partner with People Operations, Payroll, HR, Finance, Tax, Compensation, and broader HR teams to ensure coordinated delivery.
• Manage service partners (OSV, Alliant) and oversee enrollment, audits, invoicing and deductions.
• Provide backup to global benefits team members as needed.
