Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Lifecycle Engineer to support airline customers across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. You will respond to operator technical issues and develop, implement and communicate technical solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

This role is hybrid with three days on site at Derby, offering a dynamic, customer-focused environment and opportunities to influence engine lifecycle performance across a wide region.

Qualifications

• Engineering or numerical degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in design, manufacturing and/or repair on aero gas turbine engines.
• Understanding of certification requirements for EASA Part 21 and Part 145.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on engine operation, maintenance and repair to customers.
• Lead or support investigations of engine service events to determine root cause and corrective actions including product maturity.
• Create, develop and approve technical documentation to support engine operation meeting design and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and improve interface management between regional teams and other operations.
• Work with Rolls-Royce functions and customers to drive cost reduction and design changes.
• Prepare and deliver technical communications to platform providers, regulators, customers and stakeholders.
• Gather in-service data and feed learning into future product design.
