Canadian Solar's e-Storage unit seeks an Associate General Counsel to lead the UK and EMEA legal team, focusing on project contracts and compliance, including EPCs, supply agreements, long-term services, warranties, and performance guarantees. This role reports to the General Counsel, e-Storage, and is based in the UK with remote work and quarterly travel to London.

Competenze

• Solicitor qualification in England & Wales.
• 10+ years of post-qualification experience in multinational setting or top-tier firm.
• Experience advising executives on complex legal, contractual, and regulatory issues across jurisdictions.
• Experience leading negotiations of complex commercial contracts.
• Deep knowledge of commercial law, international trade, and EU/UK regulatory frameworks.
• Renewables/energy sector experience advantageous.
• Demonstrated leadership in building and managing legal teams.
• Fluent in English; Spanish or German fluency strongly preferred; other European languages a plus.
• Willingness to travel within UK and EMEA as needed.

• Lead regional legal department and mentor a team of commercial & transactional lawyers.
• Negotiate and draft EPC, equipment supply, long-term services, warranties, and related contracts.
• Provide proactive legal advice on regulatory, corporate, and commercial matters.
• Oversee risk management, litigation, and dispute resolution.
