Eaton is seeking an Accounting & Controls Manager - Aerospace in the United Kingdom to lead the accounting function for Aerospace EMEA sites, ensuring accuracy of US GAAP and local GAAP, and adherence to compliance requirements. The role focuses on standardizing and optimizing financial processes across the zone and rolling out strategic initiatives in collaboration with Controllership and COEs.

The position involves managing a finance team, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance; professional qualification preferred
• 10+ years in Accounting/Finance
• Experience in multinational manufacturing
• SOX and US GAAP exposure desirable
• Fluent business English; local language desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead closing, accounting, and reporting for Aerospace EMEA sites.
• Ensure US GAAP and local GAAP accuracy and SOX compliance.
• Standardize and optimize financial processes across the zone.
• Roll out strategic initiatives with Controllership and COEs.
• Partner with Operations to understand activities and build business acumen.
• Support tax, restructuring, M&A, payroll, and system projects.
• Drive efficiency via standardization and automation.
• Develop and manage a team of finance professionals.
• Meet budgeted costs and maintain a cost-effective org.
• Support statutory, tax, customs audits.
• Maintain ethical standards.
