Job summary

Innovate Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer – Electromagnetic Compatibility in Bristol. The role is hybrid, requiring 2–3 days on site per week, with relocation assistance offered.

You will focus on EMC and radiation effects across the full engineering lifecycle and provide design-for-EMC guidance to project teams. Essentially you will bring significant electronics design experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with LTspice or OrCAD.

Qualifications

• Higher education or significant experience in Electronics, Electrical, Physics, EMC or a related field.
• Significant experience in electronic design, development and delivery.
• Experience leading substantial electronic design work packages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and solid knowledge of electronic technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support projects across the full engineering lifecycle with a focus on EMC and radiation effects.
• Provide design-for-EMC advice and guidance to project teams.
• Develop test plans and bespoke electronic test solutions.
• Support the creation of unique test capability within the facility.
• Work closely with engineers across analogue and digital design disciplines.
• Contribute to good EMC practice across products, systems and sub-systems.
