Job description

EMC Compliance Engineer
We are seeking an EMC Compliance Engineer to test, validate, and document the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance of customer products. This hands-on role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and teamwork to ensure high-quality results and continuous improvement in laboratory processes.
Responsibilities
  • Perform EMC tests based on pre-defined plans and generate detailed reports.
  • Develop test plans and procedures tailored to product requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with international EMC standards and regulations.
  • Calibrate and maintain EMC testing equipment.
  • Provide technical support to customers and collaborate with team members.
  • Identify and propose improvements to lab processes.
  • Support the lab’s ISO17025 quality management system.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Engineering knowledge in mechanics, physics, or electronics (A-level/HNC or higher).
  • Experience with EMC equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.).
  • Familiarity with standards like EN55032, EN61000-4-x, and EMC directives.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with UKAS-accredited labs or programming (Python) is a plus.
