Job summary

Baker Hughes is hiring an Embedded Software Test Engineer focused on Python to join our Engineering Technology Team. You will translate product requirements into auditable test plans, conduct debugging, and perform automated verification using Robot Framework and Python while ensuring robust verification strategies for our products.

Candidates should have a CS or Electronics Engineering background with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering.
• Proven project and team leadership experience.
• Software programming in Python.
• C/C++ knowledge is an added advantage.
• Robot Framework experience is an added advantage.
• Experience interpreting hardware datasheets.

Responsibilities

• Translate product and design requirements into auditable test plans and abstracted test cases.
• Conduct debugging and management of issue identification, correction and validation.
• Carry out automated functional verification using Robot Framework and Python; verify digital communications protocols.
• Provide technical lead in the definition and documentation of a cohesive software verification strategy and process for each product.
