Take ownership of testing

You will be supporting projects in multiple industries; however, this role has a focus on the aerospace domain. You will play an integral part, ensuring products are at the leading edge of technology for our customers.

As an Embedded Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Generating test strategies based on software quality standards.
• Documenting test plans, test reports, test cases, etc. to aid software qualification.
• Translating product and design requirements into auditable test plans and abstracted test cases.
• Conducting problem investigation, debugging, and management of issue identification, correction, and validation.
• Providing technical lead in the definition and documentation of a cohesive software verification strategy and process for each product.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have significant experience working in software verification and validation in the aerospace domain, complying with DO178-B/C standards, and within an AS9100 SMS.
• Have good experience in verification and qualification of software to DAL-A standard.
• Have significant experience in testing resource-constrained embedded software and low-level communications protocols.
• Have ISTQB certification or similar.
• Have experience in the interpretation and understanding of hardware datasheets and device capabilities.
• Have some knowledge of C programming.
• Have a valid British passport or already have the right to work in the UK.
