Job summary

Line Up Aviation is seeking an Embedded Software Team Leader for a 6-month contract in Bristol. You will lead a team of software engineers, coordinating with the Software Project Leader to meet programme objectives and schedules.

The role involves delivering high-quality software solutions and reporting on metrics. Essential experience includes embedded C/C++ with RTOS, model-driven development (Rhapsody UML), and thorough software testing to requirements and ICDs.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded software development with C and C++.
• Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems.
• Experience with Rhapsody UML or other model-driven development tools.
• Experience in testing software to requirements & ICDs on host and target hardware.
• Experience using IBM Engineering Work Management / Rational Tool Concert.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a team of software developers and foster a productive work environment.
• Collaborate with the Software Project Leader to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Identify and communicate technical risks and debt to the Software Project Leader.
