Clear-Com, an HME company, is seeking a Software Engineer to join our UK-based team. You will contribute to the development of intercom system software, work on design and testing, and collaborate with QA and engineering to deliver robust solutions.

The role emphasizes ownership of software components, documentation, and continuous improvement within an agile framework. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with object-oriented analysis and design.
• Knowledge in C/C++ coding based applications and/or other high-level languages.
• Knowledge in design of automation script languages.
• Proficient in communication and writing skills in group settings.
• Knowledge in debugging software on PC host or embedded hardware using debuggers/emulators.
• Proficient in touch-typing and office software.
• Familiar with design of network applications.
• Ability to reason and solve problems related to this position.

Aufgaben

• Software Development: plan, design, implement and test products of low to medium complexity with supervision.
• Own limited areas of intercom system software architecture.
• Document design from high-level to implementation details.
• Validate design, develop test equipment, work with QA to develop tests.
• Transfer verification artifacts to QA for regression.
• Develop and maintain engineering work products per process and standards.
• Lead and participate in design and code reviews (formal and agile).
• Support: maintain computer and lab infrastructure.
• Maintain market awareness of Clear-Com and HME products.
• Increase know-how of current development technologies.
