STEMCELL Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to help develop, maintain, and extend software that controls our GMP-instrumentation and supports manufacturing and test automation workflows.

This is an early-career opportunity with potential for growth in a fast-moving commercial environment. You will contribute to GMP-compliant software development, work with scientists and engineers, and help design the next generation of high-throughput cell sorters while collaborating

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a physical science with relevant professional software development experience or equivalent in a research setting.
• Proficiency in C and preferably one other language (Python, Java, C#, or C++), with experience developing desktop applications and interfacing with hardware
• Strong understanding of modular design, modern software engineering practices, Git, collaborative development, testing, documentation, and software verification

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain application features in our instrument software and in-house manufacturing rigs
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to refine requirements, solve technical challenges, and implement effective solutions
• Contribute to GMP-compliant software development, including clear documentation, testing, and certifications
• Write robust, maintainable, and well-tested code in line with internal standards, participating in design reviews and working closely with our multidisciplinary team
