Motorola Solutions UK Limited is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design and develop in C++17 and Rust on Linux. You will work autonomously under supervision, delivering moderately complex software while contributing to team objectives.

The role emphasizes high-quality code with AI-assisted tooling, peer reviews, and support for junior engineers within a collaborative environment.

Formación

• University degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of software development experience.
• Practical Rust programming in Linux/embedded environments.
• Strong C++17 skills on Linux and problem-solving ability.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, test, and maintain embedded software in C++17 and Rust across the SDLC.
• Solve technical problems based on requirements and prior experience.
• Recommend improvements to software systems, tools, and processes.
• Implement unit, regression, and performance tests for quality.
• Participate in peer reviews including AI-assisted reviews and provide feedback.
• Communicate technical information clearly to teammates to align tasks.
• Mentor entry-level staff as needed.
