Job summary

IC Resources is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for Malvern, joining a world leader in safeguarding technologies. The role targets candidates with 2–8 years of embedded C / bare-metal experience and a strong academic background.

You'll work with STM32 microprocessors, implement communications protocols (I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, Ethernet), and RTOS such as FreeRTOS within an Agile development environment. Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–8 years of embedded C / bare-metal experience
• Experience with STM32 microcontrollers
• Solid knowledge of comms protocols: I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, Ethernet
• Experience with RTOS, preferably FreeRTOS
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities

Embedded Software Engineer now needed in Malvern to join world leader in advancing safeguarding technologies. Super opportunity for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer with good academics and circa 2yrs - 8yrs of relevant Embedded C /baremetal programming experience including:

• Experience with the STM32 family of microprocessors
• Good under understanding of comms protocols (I2C, SPI, CAN Bus, UART, and Ethernet)
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS.
• Working within Agile principles

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in addition to strong communication and teamwork abilities are also required.

Salary £40k to £50k plus benefits depending on experience
