Job summary

QCIC is hiring a Security Engineer in London to support access control and CCTV projects across client sites. The role is on-site in the St Paul’s area, involving five days per week with occasional UK/Europe travel.

You will assist with system administration, troubleshooting, and ongoing operational support, working with senior engineers and client stakeholders to deliver projects and maintain service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with physical security systems, including access control and CCTV platforms.
• Understanding ICT infrastructure, networking, and server environments.
• Experience supporting security system installations, upgrades, or migrations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop enterprise security expertise.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of access control and CCTV projects, including programming, testing, commissioning, and close-out activities.
• Provide remote support for technical issues and break-fix incidents across client sites.
• Assist with planned maintenance and reactive support requirements.
• Participate in RFC process for maintenance and project activities.
• Maintain commissioning documentation and assist with project handovers.
• Keep project documentation and commissioning records up to date.
• Travel within the UK and Europe to support delivery and support.
