Job summary

ALL.SPACE is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain real-time embedded software for our smart terminal products. You will work in a hybrid Reading-based team, contributing to architecture, testing and documentation within an Agile framework.

The role requires C++ on embedded systems, Linux/FreeRTOS experience and familiarity with hardware interfaces like CAN, Ethernet and SPI.

Qualifications

• Experience in C++ development for embedded real-time systems.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and FreeRTOS environments.
• Experience with hardware interfaces (Serial, Ethernet, CAN, SPI).
• Familiar with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work in an Agile team and document work in Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test and maintain embedded software for terminal products.
• Develop real-time features and integration with REST APIs and web interfaces.
• Deliver high-quality, well-documented code within an Agile roadmap.
• Create tests and perform on-target debugging and validation.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and code reviews.
