About the Role

We seek a motivated individual with a strong interest in physical security to join us as an Embedded Physical Security Operations Centre (PSOC) Analyst for a global financial sector client. Reporting to the embedded manager, you will be part of a 24/7 security team providing access control, CCTV monitoring, incident response, threat monitoring, and travel security support from a state-of-the-art PSOC in London’s financial district.

As a PSOC Analyst, your responsibilities include physical security monitoring and, after training, disseminating communications about global events affecting personnel and assets. You will act as a central point during crises, engaging with various business functions to ensure a holistic security approach. The role involves strategic and tactical analysis, including travel security assessments and horizon scanning.

The PSOC operates 24/7, so flexibility for weekends, public holidays, and night shifts is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security operations 24/7, including CCTV, access control, and alarms
• Track business travelers using global tools to support security
• Assist staff, visitors, and vendors as a security concierge
• Conduct building patrols and escort visitors as needed
• Create and manage badges with appropriate access
• Respond to medical emergencies and assist first responders
• Ensure security of staff, assets, and access points, reporting hazards
• Follow escalation procedures for incidents and technical issues
• Document incidents accurately in case management systems
• Use GIS tools to assess risks and incidents nearby
• Support investigations with security database data
• Disseminate information to mobilize resources during incidents

Requirements

• Experience or interest in physical security (e.g., guarding, law enforcement, military)
• Knowledge of security policies and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn PSOC operations and follow SOPs
• Strong communication skills, patience, and professionalism
• Ability to analyze news, social media, and information feeds quickly
• Data interpretation, organization, and visualization skills
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Eligibility to work in the UK

Nice to Have

• Experience with PSOC tools and systems (e.g., Everbridge, Genetec)
• Military or law enforcement background
• First Aid certification
