Infleqtion UK is hiring an Embedded Systems Engineer in Kidlington (Oxford) for our quantum RF and sensing projects. You will design and implement embedded control, acquisition, timing and communications systems, collaborating with physicists, electronics, FPGA, systems and software engineers from requirements to deployment.

Qualifications

• Strong embedded Linux development experience on FPGA SoC platforms.
• C/C++ and Rust development experience for embedded systems.
• Experience with board bring-up, bootloaders, kernel and device-tree configuration.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded Linux software, firmware and BSPs for FPGA-based systems.
• Create and deploy Linux distributions using Yocto, Buildroot or similar.
• Implement device-tree, drivers and interfaces for FPGA peripherals and microcontrollers.
