Set2recruit LTD is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in the UK to develop low-level firmware for ARM Cortex-M / STM32 systems. You will design, implement and debug features across embedded platforms, working closely with hardware teams in a fast-paced R&D setting.

The role emphasizes strong Embedded C skills, experience with STM32 or similar MCUs, and proficiency with debugging tools. Collaboration and problem-solving are essential as you contribute to real-world intelligent systems.

Qualificações

• 2–3 years of commercial experience in embedded systems or firmware development.
• Strong Embedded C programming skills.
• Experience with STM32 or similar microcontroller platforms.
• Understanding of low-level drivers and hardware interfaces.
• Proficient debugging embedded systems with oscilloscopes and debuggers.
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
• Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced R&D environment.
• Interest in innovation-led engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Developing and maintaining embedded software for ARM Cortex-M / STM32-based systems.
• Designing and implementing new firmware features and capabilities.
• Debugging and resolving low-level embedded and hardware integration issues.
• Working with communication protocols including CAN, UART, SPI and I2C.
• Supporting board bring-up, integration and system-level testing.
• Contributing to performance optimisation, reliability improvements and code quality.
• Working on connected and intelligent systems with real-world applications.
